VEGAN IN PHUKET: RED DUCK

If you guys follow me on Instagram, you’ll know that I recently spent 2 weeks in Thailand: the first volunteering at Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai and the second exploring Phuket and volunteering at Phuket Elephant Sanctuary. Volunteering with the elephants was one of the most incredible experiences of my life and I’m excited to be sharing more about that with you guys on the blog in the coming week. In the mean time, you can watch my volunteering ‘week in the life’ at Elephant Nature Park vlog here: If you have any questions about what it was like to volunteer at the...

FUNKY PIES | BONDI BEACH

Hey guys! I’m coming at you today with my first (of many) travel posts from Australia. To start off this travel series, I wanted to share with you one of my favourite places that we’ve eaten at on this trip: ▹▸▹▸ FUNKY PIES AT BONDI BEACH This cute little café is just a short walk from the beach front and serves 100% plant-based pies that are 100% delicious! The pies can be served with mash potato, peas and gravy or a healthier alternative of side salad. Matt and I both opted for the Funky Chunky pie which is made of shiitake mushroom chunks in...

VEGAN EATS IN AMSTERDAM!

VEGAN EATS IN AMSTERDAM!

Wandering around the streets of Amsterdam city centre on a hot Saturday afternoon, my Pret fruit salad and Hotel Chocolat airplane snacks seemed like a distant memory and the hanger was starting to set in. This is why I was so excited when we stumbled across Maoz Vegetarian, an international food chain serving falafel and other freshly made veggie food – yum yum yum! I ordered the whole wheat falafel pita topped with lots of yummy salad from the self-service salad bar and a shared a side of chips with my mum. It looked and smelt so good that I couldn’t resist taking a quick bite...

VEGAN RESTAURANTS IN PARIS

VEGAN RESTAURANTS IN PARIS

Last Sunday Matt and I visited Paris for the day; we had so much fun hanging out in some of our favourite places in the city, as well as checking out two amazing vegan restaurants. I have always found it a little difficult to find a lot of veggie options in France, so was extremely excited when Matt did a little research and found not one but two vegan restaurants: 42 Degrés and Hank Burger. I’m so excited to share the details with you guys as they were both great in different ways and are definitely worth checking out if you find yourself in Paris. 42...

BERLIN VEGAN GUIDE

BERLIN VEGAN GUIDE

This summer, instead of our typical beach holiday, my mum and I decided to do something we’d wanted to do since I was in High School: travel around Europe! Our first stop was Berlin – voted the most vegan-friendly city in the world here, and with a wide range of vegan restaurants, a veggie/vegan hotel in its centre, and an entirely vegan supermarket, it’s not hard to see why. Throughout our 3 day stay, we visited so many cool vegan places and I’m really excited to share those that we loved the most with you guys. Not only were the vegan options abundant, the city had so much...
